About the Role
The Job Support Officer, Business Enterprises is responsible for job-related support of supported employees within an employment group setting that empowers people with disability to achieve their potential and live the life they choose in line with their goals set out within their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan.
The Job Support Officer is also responsible for the day to day on the job support of supported employees; including any on the job coaching or retraining requirements to achieve all agreed production targets and NDIS Goals and also set production outcomes and develop safe work methods, as well as providing specialist, expert advice to employees under their supervision
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current National Police Record Check
- Driving Forklift Licence (desirable)
- First Aid (HLTAID003) Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Excellent communication verbal and written, particularly in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Previous experience in working in a production work environment in a similar role is an advantage
