The Learning and Organisation Development Administrator role is a mix of coordinating training, data entry and checking, and communicating with staff and managers to ensure our training runs smoothly. The most important skills and attributes are attention to detail, confident computer skills, good customer service and a flexible and team oriented approach.

You will be part of our friendly and inclusive People and Culture team reporting to the Learning & Organisational Development Manager. This role allows for hybrid working with a requirement to be in person when Induction training takes place (typically 3 days a fortnight)

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties: Coordinate the administrative tasks associated with Service Awards, related L&OD programs and Compliance and job skills-related training

  • L&OD Administration: Responsibilities also include data management, processing external applications, assisting with staff training, managing correspondence, scheduling courses, processing payments, and generating reports.

    The role oversees Yooralla's traineeship programs, involving communication with stakeholders, meticulous record-keeping, monitoring participant adherence, managing reimbursement claims, and supporting induction programs. Responsibilities also include data management, processing external applications, assisting with staff training, managing correspondence, scheduling courses, processing payments, and generating reports.

  • Workplace Relationships: Establish trust and build constructive relationships with individuals across various organisational levels, as well as external stakeholders, through maintaining a friendly professional demeanor and consistently meeting commitments to deadlines and responsibilities.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current National Police Record Check (international police check may also be requirement)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • One current Australian proof of photo ID (such as a passport or driver’s licence)

Professional Experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite- Outlook, Word, Excel (Intermediate level)
  • Demonstrated competency in using computers and Windows-based software
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and/or other database

Personal Skills and Attributes

  • Accuracy with detailed data
  • Takes pride in timely, quality work
  • A good level of computer literacy and data
  • Strong administrative skills and experience, able to plan and prioritise own work 
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, willing to pick up the phone and also able prepare clear written communications
