About the Role
As a Senior Job Coach you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of supports to facilitate employment options for people with disability thereby enhancing their quality of life. Your Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Leadership : Provide coordination, support and practice supervision to a small team of employment coaches, ensuring fidelity to evidence based best practice in employment of people with disability
- Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with local employers
- Develop, Design and Coordinate : Develop, design and coordinate capacity building supports and activities to complement skills required to maintain employment more broadly across the community service and other portfolios at Yooralla
- Operational Excellence: Effective utilisation of Participant Funding and supporting the employment coach team
- Support Excellence: Providing support and advice to employers and assisting participants.
About You
To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's Values and have:
- Leadership experience: Demonstrated leadership of support delivery teams
- Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
- Relationship Building: Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including employers, potential employers and other partners
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
- Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
- Minimum Certificate IV, or relevant work experience in disability, community services, employment services or a related field
Other Mandatory requirements
· International Police Check (if required)
· Working with Children Check
· NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Current driver's licence to drive in Australia
· Requirement to use own smartphone or tablet device for receiving shifts and client confirmation of attendance
