About the Role

To work with the KISS Team in the Southern Metropolitan Region providing support to Additional Kindergarten Assistants to oversee the access and participation of children into the kindergarten group.  The Additional Assistant Service & Support Officer will work in accordance with the objectives, priorities, policies, procedures and guidelines of Yooralla and the KISS Program as well as providing additional administration support during peak times.

This position will be based at Cranbourne with travel required across the South Eastern Metropolitan region.  

Your proven ability to demonstrate effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, be proficient in the use of technology, experience working with kindergarten programs supporting children's inclusion and being a positive role model for others

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, utilizing your practical experience in children's programs and knowledge of inclusive practices to coach and mentor our team of Additional Assistants working within the KIS program

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a flexible and adaptable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in computer use for email and internet.

Successful appointment with Yooralla is subject to mandatory safeguarding checks, including a Working with Children's Check and evidence of Australian work rights, etc.
