About the Role:
As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and, where applicable, their families. This is a Permanent Full-Time position based in Carnegie, VIC, with oversight of all three Service units located across two sites in Carnegie and one in Murrumbeena. As part of your role, it is expected that you will regularly travel between and maintain a strong presence across all service sites to ensure consistent, high-quality support and leadership. You will work Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours per day, which includes 2 hours of direct client support on the floor.

About You

- Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
- Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
- Person-Centered Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
- Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
- A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the human services area
