About the Role
Yooralla’s Community Services is seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated individual to join their friendly and supportive team and to take a step up in their career.
The Lead Employer Liaison is a 0.6 role that will provide the primary point of contact with employers during employment readiness and employment support phases of the Impact program. The role has a focus on engaging with new employers and preparing them to support a person with a disability joining their team. Please see attached the PD for further information on the role
About You
If you are passionate about supporting clients to manage their own lifestyles and live the life they choose and ideally you have experience with supporting individuals to meet their goals, we would like to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you will need:

Minimum Certificate IV, or relevant work experience, in disability, community services, employment services or a related field

Understanding and experience in customised employment techniques

Strong commitment to inclusion of people with disabilities within the community
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge of local labour market and strong research skills
- Strong listening, networking and negotiating skills
- Ability to problem solve and react quickly to resolve issues

Requirements
To be considered for this role you must attach the below mandatory requirements with your application:
- Cover Letter and Resume
- Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) or ability to obtain one
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/ Australian Citizenship Certificate or International Passport & Visa)
- A copy of your Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred)
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Check clearance prior to your commencement.
