Berry Street Yooralla, Victoria’s most trusted community and disability service provider, is excited to launch a brand-new High Intensity Outside School Hours Care program—and we’re looking for passionate leaders to join us!
This High Intensity OSHC program innovative initiative will be rolled out across five specialist schools in Victoria, providing tailored support for school-aged children and young people (5–18 years) with disabilities.
This is more than a job; it’s a chance to shape an innovative service that empowers children and young people with disabilities (ages 5–18) to thrive beyond the classroom. You’ll lead a dedicated team delivering safe, engaging, and meaningful experiences that promote learning, wellbeing, and choice for every child.
As an OSHC Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in building strong partnerships with families, schools, and communities—creating inclusive environments where every child feels supported and valued.
This a new tender is supporting specialist schools in Niddrie, Ascot Vale, Kalkallo, Dromana and Port Melbourne locations.
About the Role
As the OSHC Coordinator, as part of the leadership team you will be required to work 0.8FTE with hours in After Care 3pm – 6pm and Vacation Care 9am – 5pm.
With a focus on our values, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and support OSHC educators, fostering a positive team culture.
- Develop and deliver engaging programs aligned with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, and the community.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including rostering, enrolments, budgets, and quality improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or higher in Child Care, Education, Community Services (or ACECQA equivalent).
- Proven leadership experience in OSHC, Early Childhood, Education, or Disability sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team with professionalism and care.
