About the Role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of supported accommodation or respite services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for clients
Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Leading, coaching and supporting a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver consistent, high-quality support

Ensuring person-centred plans are in place and outcomes reflect clients' goals, preferences and choices

Managing staffing, rostering, performance and workforce capability

Overseeing service performance, including financial management, compliance and reporting.

Building positive relationships with clients, families and key stakeholders

Driving a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement

Demonstrated ability to provide consistent, high‑level support to clients with complex and intensive needs
Please note that this role includes a component of rostered after-hours on-call duty.
About You
You are a confident and capable leader who is passionate about person-centred practice and delivering outstanding service outcomes
To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's Values and have:
- Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
- Leadership Skills: Experienced leader or a support worker ready to step up as a leader
- Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
- Person-Centered Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities and behaviors of concern, promoting positive outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
- Initiative and Organisation: Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.

Previous experience in SDA settings, along with care rostering and scheduling systems such as Skedulo, will be highly regarded

Comprehensive knowledge of the disability sector, NDIS, including legislative requirements, service standards and staff management best practice
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (HLTAID011)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- International Police Check (if required)
- Willingness to undertake psychometric assessment to access suitability for employment
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in human services
