About the role
As an Occupational Therapist with Yooralla you will be responsible for supporting people with disability to achieve their goals using evidence-based practice.
This role suits an OT with a strong understanding of working with a human rights practice framework, transdisciplinary models of support and excellent and proven clinical skills.
It is perfect for a team player where you will have the opportunity to work as part of a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team and best utilise your expertise in occupational therapy to provide quality support to deliver positive outcomes.
The role suits an OT who thrives in a person centred and dynamic environment. The majority of the role will be in providing support to children, adults or across the lifespan.

-Experience in Occupational Therapist roles either in private practice, healthcare or an organisational setting.
-Interest, or experience, in working with people with disability.
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in working with children, adults or across the lifespan with disability, and an ability to work with others.
-Demonstrated clinical capability and analytical skills.
-A team player, with experience with working in a transdisciplinary or multi-disciplinary team.
-Aware of inclusive practices to support children and adults in everyday settings.
-Excellent time management skills.
-A qualification in: Bachelor of Allied Health in Occupational Therapy or a Masters Allied Health, Occupational Therapy.
-Registered with AHPRA.
